Area of Specialization: General Civil Litigation and Syariah Matters

Nur Syamila Binti Abu Bakar is the most senior Legal Assistant at SHAHRUL & RAFIZAL in the Litigation Department. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2015 and completed her pupillage at the firm under the guidance of Mr. Rafizal. Her dedication and keen legal acumen led to her retention as part of the litigation and Syariah teams upon her call to the Bar in 2016.

Her experience in civil litigation includes contractual disputes, land acquisition, bankruptcy, general litigation, and probate matters. In Syariah law, she holds a Syariah practising certificate for the Federal Territories and has handled cases involving divorce, custody, maintenance, matrimonial property, inheritance, and hibah. To deepen her expertise, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice from UiTM Shah Alam in 2017.

With her dual expertise in civil and Syariah law, Nur Syamila is a well-rounded legal practitioner committed to delivering comprehensive legal solutions.
